Another Bloomsday and Another Chapter

Bloomsday.....what can I say. It was great to be back on the road again and to be running. I ran 7.46 miles in one hour and 40 minutes and I felt so goooooood crossing the finish line. I didn't hurt and I really felt good throughout the whole run. After not running for so long and a little over two months out after having a C-section I couldn't believe how strong I felt. I know I could have run faster if I had pushed harder but I wasn't sure what to expect after having been out of commission for so long. I was so happy to see my husband and babies at the finish line....it made me see that they are where I get my strength. They are what drives me to keep on going even when the going gets tough at o-dark thirty and I just wanted to stay in bed for a few extra minutes. This was such a great beginning to start off my training. I am off and finally running again! This was my second Bloomsday and I am looking forward to running many more.

This is also an ending....for my Baby Beans blog. I am retiring this blog and starting a-new. This blog has been a journal of the past three years of my life and some amazing runs, places, people, and experiences. In these past three years I learned alot about myself and about what is really important in life. I am getting ready to start training for a marathon and it is a new journey. Even though I have started training before.....this time is different because I am a different person. A stronger and wiser person. We have moved to a new place and we have a new baby and I wanted to start a new blog to share all of our new life....the next chapter and the next page on the training log. I will send everyone the link to the new blog and thank you for all your love and support. I can't wait to see what the future holds...
