Wonderful Weekend!

I am always sad when the weekend is gone and over. This weekend we really did alot and it was soooo much fun. (will explain later) We did go hiking on Sunday and it was a really beautiful trail along the beach. I had run my 4 miles that morning...(ran 3 straight and did take a couple of walk breaks on last mile)and we ended up hiking probably close to five miles so I ended up with at least nine miles for the day.
Today is my day off from running but me and the Bean-nutt are headed out to do another hike this afternoon. Last week was a good week and I am looking forward to week 9. Love to all!

This morning brought to you by.....

This morning I woke up before five and decided to hit the road. Last night I was suppossed to run 2 miles but Jake and I ended up running a timed mile on the track...ok Jake ran a nice fast timed mile of 8 minutes and I putzed along. Good times. So after a semi decent nights rest I decided that I needed to get out and run my 2.

I love love love running in the morning. Now don't get me wrong....I am not a morning person. I am a night owl but even night owls love the early morn when the rest of the world is still snuggled in bed sleeping. It was a great morning and a really great run. I ran over two miles and probably closer to three. Godsmack was blaring, the streets were clear and my Nimbus'es were raring to roll. It was a awesome start to a great day.

Tomorrow is my three miler and I am going to get up and do it in the am again. WML!

Week 8

So week seven went pretty well. I was supposed to run 4 miles yesterday but I decided on 3 instead since I was feeling a little tired. So all in all I ran 10 miles last week. A really small number...I know... but that doesn't include the walking. This week I am following the same schedule 2/3/2/4 and even if I am dragging I will run the four.

I got my schedule ready for the next 5 weeks (added to side bar when I get a minute) and got me a new pair of Gel Nimbus 9's and a new MP3 player...I am ready to rock and roll this week. Thanks for all the nice comments and support from all....and hope your runs are kickbutt!

It's just me and the P-nutt today. Sniff sniff...but we are off to explore! LOL!

But Seriously....

I know my posts have been short....but as you know sometimes you just don't have a bunch of time and so something is going to get the shaft. Sorry blog.

I ran the other night for 2 miles. It was a nice easy two miler sloooow at a 13 minute pace due to the hills and the heat. I then proceded to walk another 2 miles. Tonight is a nice easy 3 miler and then tomm another two and Sunday I'll run the big 4 miles. YOU CAN DO IT.....(the voice is played by Rob Schneider). I am in Week 7 of training and in 6 weeks I will assess and see whether I will be ready to register for Seattle. I sat down and wrote out a schedule for the next few weeks and the mileage will pick up a little...but not enough to kill me.

The girls and Jake and I are having fun here in Idaho. We have been traveling all over god knows where for over a month now but it is really nice to be out and about. When my Izzy buttcheese (one of my best friends from like forever) came we took all the kids for a nice little hike to Beaver Lake and we have spent almost every single day out on the water somewhere. I love summer....

I am posting a short little special post to lil ol vedjen and baby Cletus. I sing you the Golden Girls song....how cheesey. I hope you both are having a great week and I am sure that "he" is kicking up a storm...sorry that you gotta cut back on the Kimchee. We love you guys and look forward to seeing you very soon.

But seriously....To my friends and fam I know that the joke about JJ Clinkenbeard went over well. I had to say something because I was tired of the watchful eyes in Spokane. I am just trying to make light of the situation and laugh. I hope that I got my point across and that Miss Clinkenbeard can move on. I give her credit for supporting my running but I think she has better things to do with her time.

Week Seven and JJ Clinkenbeard

I haven't run in a few days because we have been so busy. I have been hiking and walking however and so I still can count that as mileage for the week...when I get a chance to log it all.

It was a fabulous weekend! I got to see my Izzy buttcheese and we went fishing and hiking.

I don't have much time to post this morn but I will write a little more about the running and this weekend later when I get more free minutes. I took a couple of pictures of the girls after they were on an ice cream sugar high....as you can see they are quite the characters.

As a side note....I want to thank Jennifer Jean Clinkenbeard for being such an avid supporter of my running. I appreciate her support and will be writing a special post for her in the next few days.

Week Six

Week six is here and it's time to step it up a little. I think I am going to kick it up a few notches and try to run by mileage this week. Got to figure out weekly schedule....probably will go like 2/3/2/4 for a total of 11 miles of running. Not much in the grand scheme of it all but it's a good goal and I'll be working on adding the miles each week. Will write more tonight when I have some more time. Wishing a wonderful week to all.

Happy 4th of July!

I am up bright and early this morn getting ready for another peaceful a.m. run. Yesterday I was up very early but decided to walk a nice easy 3 miler. This morning I am running 35 minutes again. Tuesdays run went pretty well except for one or two hills that I had to stop and walk up a little bit. I think I was tired after hiking around with P-nutt on my back for about 4 miles. (Probably more) That day I got in at least seven miles and slept like a bubby P-nutt.

We are off again this morning. We just got home and we're off again! We were in Spokane yesterday finalizing some paperwork for the new piece of property we just bought......I am so excited. We had been looking around for a while and found the right little parcel to invest in. Now we're back in Omakavegas getting ready to head out on the road again to Yakivegas. :) P-nutt is loggin in some miles on the road in the car as well as in the backpack. Shelbykins is here too for a nice long stretch and we're looking forward to spending alot of time with her.

Wishing all a great 4th! LOL.
