Baby Bean Is Here!!!!

Born at 4 lbs 9 ounces.....she was a little bean. She is now a week old and the love of my life. We went for our first walk yesterday and it was fabulous to be outside. Of course bean just slept. She is a brown eyed beauty and has little chicken runners legs. We are working on putting some meat on her bones...she is very sweet and I cherish every minute I get to spend with her. I am glad to be back blogging....it's been too long. Now I just need to recover from my C-section so that I can finally get back to my running.

Looking Ahead....

So I was thinking....yes it occasionally happens! I have revised/rearranged my marathon plan. I think. I was thinking that I am going to have to probably be a little more realistic. Once I have this baby I will only have 6 months of training before Seattle gets here. I think I need to give myself at least a nine month time frame. I want to do well and I don't want to get injured along the way. Of course I will see how I feel after the summer. It's going to be weird to have my own body back. I feel as if we are growing by the minute :) To all you out there on the road....run one for me will ya?!
